Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek are reportedly the highest-paid artists in Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs.

Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment has been dominating the TRP charts since its release. The show, which combines comedy and cooking, has become a hit with viewers, leading to its extension until January 2025. While Bharti hosts the show, chef Harpal Singh Sokhi judges it. Apart from them, Laughter Chefs features popular personalities like Krushna Abhishek, Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain, Nia Sharma, Arjun Bijlani and Karan Kundrra, among others. Recently, a leading media portal revealed how much these stars charge for their respective stints.

According to a report by the Times of India, popular comedians Bharti and Krushna are the highest-paid artists in Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs. They reportedly get Rs 10-12 lakh per episode. The same report disclosed that Karan takes home around Rs 2 lakh per episode. Whereas the Pavitra Rishta actress gets a paycheck of Rs 1.5-2 lakh per episode. The show also features Aly Goni, who gets Rs 1.5 lakh per episode. Jannat Zubair and Reem Sameer are paid Rs 1 lakh per episode.

In addition to the above-mentioned stars, Rahul Vaidya, Nia Sharma, Sudesh Lehri and Kashmeera Shah are also part of Laughter Chefs. However, their remuneration for the show is not known yet. The show, which airs every Thursday and Friday at 10 pm, is shot only once a week, and the two episodes are filmed on the same day. The cooking-based comedy show is also available on JioCinema.

Several Bollywood biggies, including Kangana Ranaut, Shraddha Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, appeared on the comedy show to promote their films. However, just days ago, reports surfaced in the media that the show might be replaced by Salman Khan’s controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss 18. But a Times Now report refuted all such rumours and stated that the show has been extended till next year, owing to the solid response from the audience.

In other news, Nia Sharma, who is currently seen on Laughter Chefs, might soon leave the show as she has signed a contract for Bigg Boss 18. As per a report by India Today, the popular television actress has been confirmed for the upcoming season of the reality show. A source told the portal, “Nia was finally ready to get herself locked inside the house and signed the dotted lines a couple of days ago. Along with her, the team is also quite excited about having her on board.” Notable, there has been no official confirmation yet.
