Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will face off on WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix.

WWE superstars Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are scheduled to lock horns on WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix. Both stars have attempted to take each other out since Reigns returned to the company at WWE SummerSlam 2024. Now, it has been reported that their upcoming match in the historic RAW episode could feature a major plot twist. During a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the legendary managerial figure in pro wrestling revealed that WWE could surprise fans with a Solo Sikoa victory. “They’ve been fooling us for about three years now, so maybe Roman gets beat on this one,” he said on YouTube.
Speaking further, Jim Cornette explained that the win would be crucial for Solo Sikoa’s character development. Cornette felt that if Sikoa lost the upcoming fixture to Reigns, he might not be able to maintain his ‘scary’ persona. “It would be hard to figure out a way to keep Solo scary if he just got beat at Survivor Series and now he gets beat on this widely watched special, because then, if you do the heat afterwards, you’re just doing the same thing,” he added.
Solo Sikoa recently addressed Roman Reign’s challenge on the December 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The show began with Sikoa revealing how Reigns had challenged him to a Tribal Combat match on January 6. Sikoa then claimed he would leave his Bloodline behind if the Original Tribal Chief was willing to do the same in the upcoming fixture. That segment was interrupted by Drew McIntyre who called out Sikoa for costing him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As Scotsman continued, he was blindsided by Jimmy Uso moments later. Soon other stars including LA Knight, Andrade and Apollo Crews came running down the ring to attack Sikoa’s Bloodline while forcing them to retreat.
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa last faced each other at the Men’s WarGames match in WWE Survivor Series 2024. Reigns had teamed up with The Usos, Sami Zayn and CM Punk to take down Sikoa and his Bloodline. After an intense battle, Reigns reigned supreme during the main-event bout. It led to multiple developments in their ongoing feud. The match also saw Bronson Reed, Tonga Loa and Jimmy Uso walk out with injuries.
