The latest promo of Bigg Boss 18 show contestants selecting names for the surprise mid-week elimination, leaving them shocked and emotional.

Just when you thought the drama in Bigg Boss 18 couldn’t get any more intense with the ongoing dynamics between the contestants, the reality show introduces another layer of twists. In the latest promo, Bigg Boss surprises the contestants with a mid-week elimination announcement meaning one contestant’s journey will come to an end in the upcoming episode.
The promo shows Bigg Boss announcing a mid-week elimination where leaves on a tree have the contestants’ names written on them. The contestants are asked to choose a leaf and hang it on the tree, voting for the person they want to eliminate. The person whose name appears on the most leaves will be eliminated.
In the teaser, Karan Veer Mehra chooses Yamini Malhotra’s name, stating that he couldn’t build any relationship with her in the house. Avinash Mishra and Vivian Dsena both choose Digvijay Rathee’s name, while Chum Darang also chooses Yamini. On the other side, Shilpa Shirodkar picks Edin Rose’s name. The promo doesn’t reveal who gets eliminated but shows the contestants’ emotional reactions to the shocking eviction. Shilpa, Chum, Eisha Singh and several others are seen with teary eyes as they process the surprising elimination.
The promo caption reads, “Bigg Boss ke ghar mein aaya mid-week eviction ka twist. Kya gharwale kar payenge khud ko iss surprising eviction se resist? Dekhiye #BiggBoss18 ColorsTV aur #JioCinema par.”
To build more excitement among viewers, another promo was released showing Rajat Dalal choosing Digvijay’s name, explaining that the other contestants hadn’t betrayed him but Digvijay did.
“Mera naam Digvijay hai, mere ko in baki pancho ne kabhi daga nhi di, Digvijay ne ek dhoka diya hai (I choose Digvijay. These five have never betrayed me but Digvijay has deceived me),” Rajat said.
This comes after a tense clash between Digvijay and Rajat during the Time God task. Digvijay accused Rajat, in charge of overseeing the task, of showing bias and being unfair by ignoring rule violations committed by Eisha. Rajat took offense to these claims, leading to a heated argument between the two.
The nominated contestants for this week are – Chaahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar, Karan Veer Mehra, Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal and Shrutika Arjun.
Meanwhile, this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar is set to be a star-studded event, with Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan making a special appearance to promote his upcoming film, Baby John. He will be joined by co-stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh.
