The craze behind India’s very own World Cup-winning skipper MS Dhoni continues despite the legend stepping away from international cricket for quite some time now.
Despite hitting 42, Dhoni still has what it takes to be one of the most destructive finishers as he has displayed his power-hitting skills in the recently concluded IPL 2024. Jumping on the bandwagon was none other than the official Instagram page of the Fifa World Cup which put up a post regarding a fellow #7 Cristiano Ronaldo with the iconic caption, ‘Thala for a reason’.
Both veterans are still showing that they can dominate on the biggest stage. Many will be expected MS Dhoni to continue for the next edition of the IPL. Meanwhile, Ronaldo will hope that he can lead Portugal to a second Euros title.
MS Dhoni was recently enjoying some time off with his family while Ronaldo is prepping himself for the national team’s first game in the Euro 2024 where they take on Czechia at the Redbull Arena in Leipzig.
