HOW TO PLAY THE SHILLONG LOTTERY
- Two rounds, each lasting roughly two minutes, comprise the Shillong Teer game.
- In the first round, professional archers shoot thirty arrows, and in the second, twenty arrows.
- Any number between 0 and 99 can be chosen by participants to wager on how many arrows will hit the target.
- Whoever makes accurate predictions wins in either round.
- Lottery tickets are priced between Rs 1 and Rs 50 and can be purchased from authorised locations.
The amount of the winning depends on the amount bet as well as how well each player predicted the outcome. For example, if a player bets Rs. 1 in the first round and correctly guesses the outcome, he could earn Rs. 80. In the second round, a winning prediction with a Rs 1 wager may result in a reward of Rs 60. The maximum prize for players is Rs 4,000, provided they correctly forecast both rounds outcomes with a single Rs 1 wager.
