Commenting on this, in an interview with HT Lifestyle, Akshata Chavan, Clinical Dietician at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, said, “Black coffee, when consumed in moderation, can be a healthy addition to your diet. It is a rich source of antioxidants and contains essential nutrients such as magnesium and potassium. It is also important to note that coffee’s benefits can be overshadowed if consumed on an empty stomach, as it may lead to acid reflux or discomfort for some individuals,” added the Dietician.
