Despite his busy day, Kohli was seen at Mumbai airport catching a flight to London to be with his wife, Anushka Sharma and their children. Kohli maintained his iconic style and looked absolutely dashing as he departed the country.

Before the T20 World Cup began, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen at Mumbai airport heading to New York for the team’s initial games. Though Kohli wasn’t photographed by the paparazzi, a picture of the couple with airport staff was shared online. The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress kept it casual, as she wore a simple black t-shirt and blue jeans, while Kohli opted for a relaxed look with a white t-shirt and black pants, which he paired with a beige shirt and completed his look with a baseball cap.

He wasn’t the only one making this major decision, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja also announced their retirement from the format. Their departures mark the end of an era, as these senior players were key figures in the team’s recent success.
Anushka Sharma, who often supports Virat Kohli at his cricket matches from the stands, was missing from the T20 World Cup. She stayed at home to care for their newborn son, Akaay. The couple, who welcomed their first child Vamika in 2021, became parents for the second time earlier this year in February.
