Israeli fighter jets struck Houthi military targets in the area of Hodeidah port in Yemen on July 20, the Israeli military said. Three people were reportedly killed and 87 were injured in the airstrikes conducted by the Israeli Air Force. Al-Masirah TV, a news outlet run by Yemen’s Houthi movement, reported that the strikes were directed against oil facilities in the port and caused fatalities. After the airstrikes, Israel accused the Houthis of using Hodeida “as a main supply route for the transfer of Iranian weapons”. The Israeli strikes came a day after Iran-backed Houthi launched a drone attack that hit Israel’s economic hub Tel Aviv.
