In a 2022 interview with Al-Manar TV, she expressed her family’s pride in their sacrifices, stating, “When my brother Hadi was ‘martyred,’ my parents did not shed a single tear.” She described her mother’s view of Hadi’s death as a “shortcut” to the afterlife and emphasized that they felt their sacrifices were small compared to other families of martyrs.
